On 22 July 2016 The House of Commons Health Select Committee launched an inquiry into the action which is necessary to improve suicide prevention in England, and in November took evidence from a wide range of contributors from across the country, including many voices from the South West.
On 10th Sept we joined with over 100 others, walking from Bath to Bristol to raise awareness of suicide prevention, reduce stigma, and promote mental health. We gave out lots of our leaflets, and raised money for the Collaborative too!
The winners of the 2016 Patient Safety Awards were announced on 5 July at ManchesterCentral, Manchester. Now an integral part of the Patient SafetyCongress, the awards are brought to you by Health Service Journal and NursingTimes.
We are determined that the Collaborative will continue - and we are grateful to everyone who has helped us so far. We now need funds so that we can run another event, as well as enable us to set ourselves up as a Charity, and to apply to the Lottery & other potential funders. Can you help us?
